The School Curriculum of 5 years is divided in: a Biennio (first 2 years), common to all the Istituti Tecnici Industriali in Italy and an additional 3 years’ course, specifically devoted to professional training.

Students coming from other schools can enroll in our school after passing an integrative examination. Foreign students, also, can enroll in our specialization course providing they can demonstrate an adequate knowledge of the Italian language  and to have attended at least 10 years of schooling (8 years of compulsory education and the Biennio). In any case the student will be submitted to an oral examination, needed to verify the scientific level of education. This will help the teachers to establish an individual educational program. The curriculum comprises both cultural and professional skills.

At the end of the 3 years’ course the student will be submitted to  a final  examination, enabling the awarding of  the Diploma of Tanning Chemist. The Diploma allows to seek higly valued jobs in the tanning and related industries. In fact, due to his knowledge of chemistry and competence in the Technology and Commerce of leathers,  the Tanning Chemist has a large choice og employement, ranging from tannery management to analytical, commercial and process control tasks.
